Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, smartphone, tablet) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, to provide website operators with information about how their sites are being used, and to remember your preferences and settings between visits.
Cookies contain information that is transferred to your device's hard drive. They are not programs and cannot transmit viruses or install malware. A cookie typically contains the name of the website that placed it, the duration for which the cookie will remain on your device, and a unique identifier (a string of numbers and letters).
In addition to cookies, similar tracking technologies may be used, including web beacons (small transparent images embedded in web pages or emails), pixel tags, and local storage objects (HTML5 storage). This Cookie Policy covers all of these technologies collectively when we refer to "cookies."
DoseMind uses cookies on our website (dosemind.com) and within our pharmacokinetic dosing platform for several purposes. We use cookies to:
DoseMind does not use cookies for behavioral advertising, cross-site tracking, or to build profiles used for third-party marketing purposes.
Essential cookies are strictly necessary for our website and platform to function. They enable core features such as page navigation, access to secure areas of the platform, and maintenance of your login session. Without these cookies, services you have requested cannot be provided. Because these cookies are necessary for the website and platform to work, they cannot be disabled through our cookie preferences tool.

Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our website by collecting and reporting information about which pages are visited, how long visitors spend on each page, where visitors come from (referring URL), and what actions are taken during a visit. This information is used in aggregate to improve our website content, structure, and performance. Analytics cookies do not identify you personally - they assign an anonymous visitor ID that is used only for statistical aggregation.
Specific analytics cookies used by DoseMind:
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
dm_analytics_id |
Assigns an anonymous visitor identifier for aggregated website traffic analysis. Used to distinguish unique visitors from returning visitors without linking to any personal identity. | 24 months |
dm_page_session |
Tracks page views and navigation within a single browsing session for session-level analytics aggregation. | Session |
Analytics cookies are set only if you have accepted analytics cookies through our cookie consent banner. You may withdraw your consent at any time as described in Section 5 of this Policy.
Functional cookies allow our website and platform to remember choices you make and provide enhanced, personalized features. These cookies may be set by us or by third-party providers whose services we have embedded in our pages. They do not track your browsing activity on other websites.
Specific functional cookies used by DoseMind:
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
dm_ui_prefs |
Stores your platform UI preferences, such as dashboard layout, table column visibility, and notification settings. | 6 months |

DoseMind does not use cookies or any similar tracking technologies for the following purposes:
When you first visit dosemind.com, a cookie consent banner will appear at the bottom of your screen. You can choose to accept all cookies (essential, analytics, and functional) or decline non-essential cookies (analytics and functional). Essential cookies cannot be declined as they are required for the website to function.
Your cookie preference is stored in the dm_cookie_consent cookie for 12 months. You can change your preference at any time by clearing this cookie (as described below) and revisiting our website to interact with the consent banner again.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to view, delete, and block cookies. Instructions for common browsers:
Please note that blocking all cookies through your browser settings will prevent essential cookies from being set, which will prevent the DoseMind website and platform from functioning correctly. Authentication will not work without the dm_session and dm_csrf essential cookies.
Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting that sends a signal to websites requesting that they not track your browsing. Because there is no uniform standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals, DoseMind does not currently alter its data collection practices based on DNT signals. However, because we do not use behavioral tracking cookies regardless, the practical effect of this limitation is minimal.
DoseMind does not permit third-party companies to place cookies on our website for advertising or tracking purposes. The only third-party service that may set cookies through dosemind.com is our cloud infrastructure provider (AWS), which sets technical cookies necessary for load balancing, session routing, and distributed service availability. These are functional in nature and do not contain personally identifiable information beyond the session identifiers described in Section 3.1.
If we add third-party integrations in the future that involve cookies (for example, a customer support chat widget), we will update this Cookie Policy before doing so and will obtain your consent through the cookie preference mechanism described above.
This Cookie Policy applies to our public website at dosemind.com. The DoseMind platform, accessed through authenticated sessions by authorized trial personnel, uses a separate set of session and security cookies that are strictly essential for platform operation. These platform cookies are not subject to the consent banner because they are necessary for the authenticated service you have contracted for. Platform cookies are described in the Data Processing Agreement between DoseMind and your Institutional Client.
Platform audit trail data is never stored in cookies. All audit trail records required by FDA 21 CFR Part 11 are maintained in server-side databases with tamper-evident logging as described in our platform documentation and compliance materials.
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use, changes in our services, or changes in applicable legal requirements. When we make material changes to this Policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where the changes are significant, provide a more prominent notice through the website.
We encourage you to review this Cookie Policy periodically. Your continued use of dosemind.com after any changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.
